Privacy Policy
Prep475 is a Florida real estate exam study service operated by an individual based in Japan. You can reach us at [email protected].
1. The free quiz
The free quiz keeps your answers and progress only in your own browser (local storage on your device). There is no account, and nothing you answer is sent to us. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics on the site. The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data (such as your IP address and request logs) to serve pages and protect against abuse.
2. Members accounts
If you buy the full kit and create an account, we handle:
- Your email address and password. Sign-in is run by Google Firebase Authentication. Passwords are stored in hashed form; we cannot see them.
- Your purchase. Payment is taken by our payment provider, which is the seller shown on your receipt. We do not receive your card number. We receive order details such as your email, order number, product, and license key status.
- Your license key and paid status, linked to your account so we can confirm you have access.
- Your study progress (answers, history, and exam results), saved to your account so you can switch devices.
3. How we use it
We use this information to run the service, sync your progress, confirm your purchase, answer support requests, and prevent license-key sharing. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.
4. Service providers
- Cloudflare for hosting and the small server that checks license keys.
- Google Firebase for sign-in and the database, with data stored in the United States.
- Our payment provider, named on your receipt, for payments, taxes, and refunds.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data while your account is active. To delete your account, progress, and license record, email us from your account address and we will do so within 30 days. After deletion you lose access. Payment providers may keep their own records as the law requires.
6. Security
Access to the question bank and to your progress is limited by database security rules so that only your signed-in, paid account can read your data. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
7. Children
Prep475 is meant for adults preparing for a Florida real estate licensing exam. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Where data is processed
We operate from Japan. Our providers process data in the United States and other countries.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing us. Where your local law (for example in California, the EU, or the UK) gives you further rights, we will honor reasonable requests under it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes affecting members, we will email you.
